We moved to Spain in 2020 during lockdown and began a journey that took us first to Playa Flamenca, then to Torrevieja, then to the campo outside Catral, and now on to the Costa del Sol. This site is where we share that story, the places we’ve discovered, and what we’ve learned along the way.
This is not just a travel site. It is the story of building a life in Spain, learning different areas, experiencing the highs and lows of the move, and slowly understanding what each place has to offer.
We arrived in Spain in 2020, right in the middle of lockdown, and began a completely new chapter. Like many big moves, it came with excitement, uncertainty and a lot to learn. Over the years that followed, Spain became much more than a place we visited. It became home.
Our first base was Playa Flamenca, where we lived from 2020 to 2021. After that came Torrevieja, another important part of our story and a place that helped us get to know even more of the Costa Blanca. Later, we experienced a very different side of Spain again through life in the campo outside Catral.
Along the way, we visited and explored much of the Costa Blanca, learning the feel of different towns, coastlines and everyday life in each area. Now, with a move toward the Costa del Sol, this site is evolving too — becoming a place to share our journey more clearly, the places we’ve loved, and the new chapter we’re now building in southern Spain.
